Hello everyone, my name is Cheryl. My husband Bobby has wanted a Harley his entire life. We met each other when we were 19 years old. He told me about the different bikes he owned as a child. While we were dating he borrowed his friend’s bike to come and visit me because he didn't own a car. We fell in love immediately and were married the following year.

As everyone knows when you are a young couple struggling to make ends meet you can't afford any extras. We had our first son and it got even harder. His desire to own a Harley kept growing but we couldn't afford one. He saw a Yamaha 1000 for sale on the side of the road one day. It wasn't his dream Harley, but it was a motorcycle.
The years passed and we added another son to our family. Our needs grew and we needed furniture. Bobby sold his Yamaha for living room furniture! It broke his heart but his family was more important. I knew what he was sacrificing and it broke my heart. I swore that one-day we would have that Harley.

Bobby was always scanning the newspaper looking for that perfect Harley. Finally in 2000, he came upon an advertisement for a Harley. At last we were the proud owners of a 1982 Harley Davidson 1000 Sportster Ironhead 25th Anniversary Bike!!!!!!!!!!! The paint was a little worn and it needed some work but it was a Harley all the same. For the last three years we have entrusted our friend Coop at Suicide Cycles in Manchester to do a make over on our Harley.

By becoming a part of the riding world we have met the most wonderful people that we are proud to call our friends and family. Our friend Cooter has named us the “Rat Pack” and given us all nicknames. He said that all of us reminded him of the original Rat Pack and how tight they were. We travel many back roads and love spending time together. It really pisses me off that bikers have such a bad reputation but I can say I am proud to be a BIKER!!! I thought about getting my motorcycle license as I have always wanted to learn how to ride. For now Bobby would rather I ride with him then beside him. That’s okay with me. I am proud to be his “BITCH” on the back!!!!

Bobby & I celebrated our "25th" wedding anniversary this past June and had a biker wedding where we renewed our vows and our love for one another. Over the years we have had our ups and downs but we love each other very much and look forward to another 25 years in the wind!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
