I am Will Goodwin, a White Earth Ojibwe from Minnesota. I realized early on that I didn't really dig the cold and snow so I have been looking for the PERFECT climate for years. Guess What? I FOUND it. I tried Arizona, California, New Mexico and Texas, and was most suited for Arizona, until I met Australia. |
I met some folks online, chatted, and then, after a few months talked on the phone, I was invited to come over and stay as long as I liked. What I found was PARADISE. The Sunshine Coast…..my kinda place. I got the boot from OZ after 12 months, had to return to America and be GONE 3 days, so I did. I came back and after my electronic visa expired I filed for residency. After 38 LONG months it was given.
So here I am, in Paradise. I work for a Pie company, I deliver the tasty meat pies to all our shops along the coast. After work, I ride my Sporty along the SAME route, many days, an equal or longer amount of time. Surfie chicks, babes in bikinis, know what I MEAN?

It NEVER snows here or gets colder than about 44 degrees at night, in winter, so I DO actually RIDE 365 days a year, EXCEPT when an ASSHOLE intentionally ran me off the road. Had to get ME repaired, and all the parts for my Sporty had to come from America. 7 LONG weeks. Good thing my best friend Craig is a painter. He did her up beautifully, he's probably the BEST here. He’s been winning ALL the best paint, best custom paint and best airbrushing at the Scooter and custom car shows. He's from New Zealand, got to OZ 3 days after I. |

I HIGHLY recommend this place. To my friends and family in America, I love and miss you, but I wouldn't TRADE my paradise for ANYTHING.
