Well hi there,
Just a bit about what it’s like to be a real biker, in my eyes.
I was lucky enough to buy my 1993 Harley-Davidson Sportster 1200, after ending a 20 year marriage and raising 2 kids on my own. When I started to have major oil leaking with my bike, I needed help. I got real
lucky that there was a great man I was told about, that had a small shop. While getting him to fix my bike, I also learned that he did all his own painting and graphics on motorcycles. So, I hired him to paint my Harley pink for me and put butterflies on it. Well he did and I have gotten many trophies with this bike.

My kids went back to Florida and that gave me more time to learn what its like to be a real biker, and that’s what I did, with the help of the man that painted my bike. We became great friends and rode together everywhere. He took me along for my first bike rally, Little Sturgis, KY. Oh what fun and I did this ride on my pink Harley 8 months after my 3rd back surgery, this last one was a 6 1/2 inch metal rod being put in. The doctors said that I might not ride again, but I proved them wrong.

After that run to KY, I ended up marrying the best man around. His name is Orie, the man that I once hired is my loving hubby now. We live and work at our motorcycle shop. Our bikes stay in the house, I have learned to work on my own bike and now we have people that come to us just to say that a woman did the work on their bike. It's a great thing to learn, and I had the best teacher, my hubby. We do everything together, from top to bottom of a bike, and we even paint together, ride together and just have oh so much fun together. We have slept on pavement, in a tent, on a pick-nick table and had our tent blown away last year in KY, at a rally, but as long as are bikes are ok, that’s all that matters.

Now, one of my kids has come back to me. He's 14 and my hubby got him his first bike, a Honda Rebel. He got his permit 2 day's after he turned 14, and he rides very well. I am proud of him and Orie for teaching him how to ride and to be a free spirited person. You see, a lot of people in the bible belt don’t like us here but they have to deal with it. There is nothing wrong with us because we have Harleys, have more than 20 tattoos, and are not afraid to express ourselves and to say what’s on our minds.

|
Well I am very lucky to have the lifestyle that I have now, freedom, happiness and to ride every day. We put smiles on people's faces when we paint there ride and just pumping gas, people say how great our bike looks. It’s a great feeling to know that we can make people smile.

the wind, on your scoot or doing the biker thing and write something about yourself, your
lifestyle, your travels, your thoughts on being a biker, whatever. Only rule is you actually got to be a biker, not some candy ass trailer queen riden wannabe that decided two weeks ago you wanted to be just like the boys at OCC or one of those guys who has had a scooter for 3 years and has put a whopping 3,000 miles on it. If you look like a biker, act like a biker, smell like a biker and ride like a biker, we will use
it. Include your mailing address, and if we use your submission we will send you some cheap ass gift that most likely will promote BikerCrap. Now how is that for a deal?
